Renovation/Construction Projects

The city of Ocean Shores dune firebreak project: Construction crews will be working on city property along the west Beachcomber property line. Brush clearing will be performed with noisy and potentially dangerous heavy equipment. For your safety, please use caution and avoid adjoining areas until all clear. 

Crews will be clearing along all ocean front properties in the downtown area starting August 1, and expect to be completed in 30 days.

Road Conditions:  Due to unpredictable weather patterns or road closures, check the road conditions before choosing your itinerary by logging on www.wsdot.wa.gov.

Resort Info

Location and views: Beachcomber units have the benefit of being located near downtown and alongside the ocean. Units are not directly facing the ocean and while most have a partial ocean view, some may be of the neighboring property which is not of a similar quality.

EZ Access Units: If you have specific accommodation needs due to mobility or accessibility, please contact your Owner Services representative at 1.800.444.6633 to discuss your options. Due to the age and the structure of the building some units are not accessible for guests with mobility issues.

EZ Access Units offers: grab bars, shower chairs, toilet seat risers & adjustable height shower arm/heads in the primary bedroom bathrooms

2 Bedroom Den and 2 Bedroom Den EZ condominiums:  These unit types contain only 2 sleeping areas, the Master bedroom which includes the Den or the second bedroom. The Master bedroom with included Den, contains a King size bed and a Queen Murphy bed. The second bedroom contains a Queen bed.

Wireless Internet access is available in each condominium. 

Check-in Office: The check-in office is open from 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. every day. The front desk may be closed for an hour during lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Walk to the beach on the seasonal nature trail. Due to the inland lakes that form in the fall through early summer, it is not passable. The seasonal trail (which is not on VI property) is approximately 1/2 mile to the beach, a nice meandering walk through the natural dunes.  Use at your own risk.

Resort Activities

Food services have been discontinued.

Ocean Shores Community Club (pools, fitness center, etc…) is open . Club rules MUST be followed while using club facilities. Phone the club at (360) 289-2433 or visit their website: https://oceanshorescc.com/

Fees/Taxes

Fines: The following fines will be assessed for non-compliance.

Over-occupancy policy: $50.00 per person, per night. Occupancy limits apply to all ages including infants.

No pet policy: $350.00. Pets are not allowed at VI Resorts. 

No smoking policy: $350.00. Smoking and vaping (tobacco or Cannabis) are not allowed in rooms, on decks, lanais or patio.

Late check-out policy: $25.00. Charged every half hour after check-out time of 11:00am.

After-hours lock out: $25.00

Room key replacement: $2.00 per key card

Lost or damaged pool towels: $25.00

Accommodations/Lodging Tax:  As required by state and local regulations, this nightly tax rate is collected at check-in and is based on the current rate at the time of arrival per condominium size and season.
