On August 16 to August 21 the GARAGE elevator will be out of service to replace the traveling cable.
- An exterior painting project will begin at the resort on October 3rd 2022. This project will take 1 1/2-2 years to complete. We do not have specific dates for the project at this time.

After Hours Check-in: Effective 09/15/2021, Any guest checking in at the Royal Kuhio after office hours (7pm-8am) will get their keys from a lock box rather than from the security guards. It is very important to make sure that your correct contact information is on your reservation so the resort can provide you with important arrival information.
Parking: Upon arriving, parking is permitted at the front entrance on Kuhio Avenue for registration and unloading luggage. Parking instructions will be given at check-in. When checking in after hours, please review the parking instructions to avoid being towed.
Laundry: A coin operated laundry is located within the building. The units do not have washer and dryer.
EZ Access Unit: If you have specific accommodation needs due to mobility or accessibility, please contact your Owner Services representative at 1.800.444.6633 to discuss your options. Due to the age and the structure of the building some units are not accessible for guests with mobility issues.
EZ Access Units: Come equipped with an open roll-in shower with fold down shower seats but not a bathtub. The toilet is in the enclosed area of the shower. The bedroom is separated from the living room by a sliding door only. Kitchens and bathrooms have lowered sinks and countertops.
ADA Kits: Offered upon request.
One Bedroom interior units: The bedroom is separated from the living room by a sliding door only. The bathroom can only be accessed through the bedroom, therefore, recommended for two persons only.
Internet Access: Free WIFI internet access is located in all rooms.

The recreation deck, exercise room, billiards room & BBQ area, located on the 7th floor is open for your enjoyment. BBQs use is available with reservations made at the security desk.
Due to unexpected maintenance or other issues, there is always the possibility that the Recreation Areas may be closed or otherwise unavailable. Please see building signage for information as applicable.
- Fees/Taxes
Fines: The following fines will be assessed for non-compliance.
Over-occupancy Policy: $50.00 per person, per night. Occupancy limits apply to all ages including infants.
No Pet Policy: $350.00. Pets are not allowed at VI Resorts.
No Smoking Policy: $350.00. Smoking and vaping (tobacco or Cannabis) are not allowed in rooms, on decks, lanais or patio.
Late Check-Out Policy: $25.00. Charged every half hour after check-out time of 11:00am.
Fees
Accommodations/Lodging Tax: As required by state and local regulations, this nightly tax rate is based on condominium size and season and charged at the current rate upon arrival.
Hawaii accommodation taxes will be increasing by 3% on 02/07/2022.
